Whether you are looking for something for grandma, daughters or even a nice treat for yourself, SnapSack bags make fun and creative holiday gifts that will bring joy all year round.
You can choose to gift a bag you've decorated, or leave it to the recipient to design it themselves. If you are sending it to Grandma, it is a fun project for the kids to decorate it for her and she will love it!
My family receives cards from around the world for loads of different holidays. If you are anything like me, those cards end up at the bottom of desk drawers and boxes in closets. I'll be the first to admit, I am more then slightly sentimental. I feel badly throwing away something that represents someone else thinking of me and taking the time to write and post a card.
During a recent house purge, my nine year old daughter, Zoe, had the creative idea of using these piles of cards to decorate our SnapSacks.
She set about organising the cards into their respective holidays and then designing a SnapSack handbag for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Next weekend, she will tackle Chinese New Year, Easter and other holidays.
This SnapSack doubles as a trick-or-treating bag. Much more stylish then the traditional plastic pumpkin!
Labor Day weekend has come and gone, the U.S. Open tennis ended yesterday, and you're on your way back to school or work. The summer is officially over! If you want to hold onto summer a little bit longer, fill your SnapSack Tote with summer memories to keep you smiling through the autumn.
Did you visit relatives over the summer? Or share a beach house with some friends? Put some photos and memories from the vacation into a SnapSack bag and send it to them as a Thank You gift.
Summer is in full swing and SnapSacks make perfect beach accessories. If you are spending a day at the beach, a SnapSack tote has plenty of room for your colorful kikoy, summer reading book, sunblock and other beach supplies.
If you're skipping sunbathing, but still going to the beach for a fabulous lunch or early evening sundowners, the SnapSack handbag is the perfect chic companion. Decorate it with bright summer colors to match your gorgeous sundress.
Whatever wonderful things you are planning this summer, make sure to have your SnapSack tote and handbag with you.
Enjoy your holidays!

There are lots of things to fill your SnapSack with aside from just photographs. What do we mean by "Knick Knacks"? Knick Knacks are things you come across that make you smile. It could be postcards in a bookshop, coasters from your favorite restaurant, movie tickets from a film you loved, tickets to a concert or sporting event you enjoyed or even a drawing your child made.
Once you start looking, you will find inspiration to fill your SnapSack around every corner. When you find your favorite things, the creative possibilities are endless.
With a little ingenuity, your SnapSack will truly be personal and one-of-a-kind!
The "pizza box" that your SnapSack arrived in is made from recycled materials. You can recycle it further by using it to make fun arts & crafts to put into your SnapSack covers.
You can get as extravagant as you want, but you can also keep it simple, especially if you are doing arts & crafts with a child. This project is suited for children aged six and up. The materials my seven year old daughter, Zoe, used were: scissors, glue stick, glitter, stickers, newspaper (or paper towels) and a coffee cup for tracing. I helped her with the box cutter, but she did everything else herself.
Use the coffee cup to trace a circle on the pizza box. Make sure the base of the coffee cup is small enough to fit into the pocket of the SnapSack cover. Use the box cutter to cut out the rough shape and then use the scissors to clean the edges. Cover the circle with a generous amount of glue and place on newspaper or paper towel. Sprinkle the glitter onto the circle and then shake off the excess.
Put extra glue on the back of a sticker and place in the middle of the circle, pressing firmly on the sticker for a few seconds or you can place wax paper and a heavy book on top. Allow to dry for an hour and then shake off excess glitter.
Place in your SnapSack plastic cover to enjoy your unique design.
You can expand on this project by using cookie cutter shapes or alphabet cut-outs. Try other materials like beads or colorful pipe cleaners, markers and paint. In order to protect your SnapSack cover, you can also laminate your designs.
